Living Hell in Pakistan: Exclusive Video Shows how Pro-India Voices in PoK are Brutally Crushed

In a massive revelation CNN-IBN has aired footage exposing human rights violations in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir.

It is being reported that youths refusing to join the cause of jihad are routinely picked up by the ISI and tortured. Protesters said on camera that the Pakistani establishment had no right to use force on them and some went on to add that India is better than the neighbouring country.

The footage shows youths protesting against the Pakistani government in Muzaffarabad, Gilgit and Kotli and several other areas of PoK.

It is also being reported that the local administration has misconstrued any hint of disturbance in the Kashmir Valley as unrest and revolt.

The Pakistani establishment has remained silent and no comment has been made from their side.

The sheer scale of protests, the swelling crowd and its vehement demand for freedom from Pakistani aggression is a clear indicator that these protests cannot be termed as sporadic.

Protesters also said on camera that the Pakistani establishment had no right to use force on them.

They are also heard talking about human rights violation and misbehaviour with their women.

Youths are also seen in the video saying that those who refuse to join jihad from PoK are picked up by the ISI.

The video clearly shows that anti-Pakistan protests are on the rise in PoK and the Pakistani force is using brutal force to quell rebellion in the region.

The PoK residents added that India was better than the neighbouring country.

The report said that the protests were not sporadic or one off as the crowds seen in the video were huge and there was also major presence of Army and the police in the region to control them.

Nasa scientists find evidence of flowing water on Mars

In a Mars-related press conference this morning Nasa has announced that “under certain circumstances” liquid water has been found on Mars.

“Mars is not the dry arid planet that we thought of in the past,” it said in a press conference streamed online today.

Previously it was known that H2O existed on Mars in the form of ice but scientists had thought the atmosphere of Mars was too thin for liquid water to be possible.

The scientists used a spectroscopy technique to analyze the chemical composition of dark streaks (which Nasa refers to as Recurring Slope Lineae or RSL) they had previously observed on the Martian surface. These streaks had been noticed to vary following temperature changes on the surface — leading to a hypothesis that the substance was water.

Late last week the agency trailed a “major science finding” from its ongoing exploration of the red planet — showing continued savvy at Nasa’s social media mission to sustain public interest in space exploration.

Nasa landed its Curiosity Rover on Mars back in August 2012 and the bot has been exploring the surface ever since — with Nasa extending what was originally slated as a two-year mission back at the end of 2012. Its Opportunity rover, which landed on the Martian surface back in 2004, is also still active — currently surveying a portion of the surface called Marathon valley.

Discoveries from the Curiosity mission to-date have included finding calcium perchlorate in the Martian soil, as well as spikes of methane. It has also roved into an ancient streambed where liquid once flowed, and unearthed clay minerals after drilling Martian rock — again suggesting an aquatic environment in the planet’s past.

The rover has also measured radiation levels with a view to assessing the feasibility of humans spending time on the planet.

The presence of perchlorate in the Martian soil improves the stability of liquid water on the surface of Mars, Nasa scientists said today — enabling the liquid water to exist for longer before either freezing as the temperature on the planet drops, or boiling away in its thin atmosphere. This means that Mars’ water is “briny”, rather than “pure”.

The viability for life to exist in this water is “not clear” at this stage, Nasa added — although the presence of liquid water itself gives a huge boost to that search.

“My feeling when you look at Earth, water is an essential ingredient [for life]… This is tremendously exciting. We haven’t been able to answer the question does life exist beyond Earth but finding water is critical to that. We now have, I think, great opportunities to be in the right locations on Mars to thoroughly investigate that,” said Jim Green, director of planetary science at Nasa.

Investigating the RSL sites themselves to probe for life is challenging, according to Nasa, because the streaks have so far only been observed on steep slopes. So it said directly probing whether they contain life is likely to be “the domain of future robotics spacecraft specifically designed to go there” — craft which are also rigorously sterilized to avoid contamination by Earth-based microbes. Exactly where the liquid that appears in the RSL comes from is unclear at this stage.

The presence of liquid water on Mars could also help any future human mission to the planet, Nasa added.

“It took multiple spacecraft over several years to solve this mystery, and now we know there is liquid water on the surface of this cold, desert planet,” added Michael Meyer, lead scientist for Nasa’s Mars Exploration Program at the agency’s headquarters in Washington. “It seems that the more we study Mars, the more we learn how life could be supported and where there are resources to support life in the future.”

Micromax's Yu to launch world's most powerful phone next month: Report

The handset, purportedly named as Yu Yutopia, is said to be the purported Yu5050 which showed up in benchmarks sometime back.

Micromax's Yu is said to be launching world's most powerful phone in India as soon as next month.
As per a report of BGR, the handset is codenamed as Project Achilles which will be made in India and is likely to be launched around this Diwali.

"This would be a no-compromise smartphone, with the best specifications and the highest benchmark rating," BGR quoted its source as saying.

As per the website it could be the rumoured Yu 5050 which showed up in benchmark results sometime back.

The Yu5050 was spotted on Antutu benchmark listing and even on import, export listing site, Zauba with benchmark listings. It is claimed to have Android 5.1.1 operating system, 1.5 GHz octa core Snapdragon 810 MSM8994 processor, huge 4 GB RAM, 21 megapixel rear camera, an 8 megapixel front camera, dual SIM, 5.2 inch display, micro SD card support, and declared value of Rs 20,295 to Rs 20,752.

Incidentally, Yu's founder, Rahul Sharma tweeted on September 25, "After the minion monster #YUNIQUE can't wait to present the #Real Beast. Let the countdown begin."

What is a ‘blood moon’?

The term is scoffed at by astronomers, but it has come to mean the combination of a super moon – when the moon’s orbit is closest to the Earth and appears up to 8% bigger – and a full lunar eclipse, when the Earth’s shadow obscures the moon. On Sunday night it resulted in spectacular views of a coppery disc in the sky. “Blood moon” is not a scientific term. It began to be used in connection with Biblical prophesies, but has come to be used to describe the reddish hue seen on a super moon during a lunar eclipse. To astronomers, the event was a “super moon, harvest moon, tetrad, lunar eclipse”.

What is a lunar tetrad?

It is four successive total lunar eclipses, with no partial eclipses in between.

Why was the moon still visible during an eclipse?

During a total lunar eclipse, the Earth, sun and moon are almost exactly in line, with the moon on the opposite side of the Earth from the sun. As the moon was full when it moved into the shadow of the Earth it dimmed markedly, but remained visible because of the sunlight passing through the Earth’s atmosphere.

Why was it reddish?

The sunlight passing through the Earth’s atmosphere was filtered and refracted in such a way that the green to violet light on the spectrum was scattered more strongly than the red light. This left more red light to reach the moon’s surface.

When will the next “blood moon” appear?

The next lunar eclipse visible from the the UK is due in January 2019, but a lunar eclipse won’t coincide with a super moon again until 2033.

"Spectre" is due for release this fall and the Bond 24 team has been wrapping up production. Director Sam Mendes, who also directed the previous James Bond film titled "Skyfall," has brought the team to several beautiful locations throughout Europe and Central America.

Mendes has promised fans that the "Spectre" elaborate opening sequence, which was filmed in Mexico City and recreates the Day of the Dead, will be unlike anything seen in the Bond franchise before.

5. World's Oldest Bond Girl

India Pakistan Again At War!! This Time Not On A Battlefield But In Cyberspace

India and Pakistan continue to squabble over Kashmir. Both the countries tend to be good friends but are mostly seen in battlefields against each other. At the borders or in the game of cricket, they are historic rivals. And with the world shifting towards digitalisation, their war has also gone digital.

Yes, the cyber war between these two neighbouring countries seems to have begun.

On Saturday, September 26, a Pakistani hacker Faisal Afzal aka 'Faisal 1337' hacked the official website of Kerala Government, kerala.gov.in.

Reportedly, the text on the homepage at that moment read: "Official website of the RC Office, Govt of Kerala — New Delhi Hacked! Pakistan Zindabad." Also mentioned below was, "We Are Team Pak Cyber Attacker. Security is just an illusion". The hacker also mentioned about his attack on his Facebook Page

In few minutes, the news spread like wild fire all over social media. It was not a question about a government website or an Indian website being hacked, but a full-fledged cyber attack on India by a Pakistani hacker!

Within a few hours, an Indian hacking group returned the favour. 'The Mallu Cyber Soldiers' claimed responsibility of the retaliation. It announced that over 100 Pakistani websites were hacked, as payback to the Pakistani hack of the Kerala Government's website.

They also posted a message on their Facebook Page, "!!Message to Script Kiddies of Pakistan ….Do not touch Indian Websites !!! Now your 46 Pakistan government websites got crashed and 4 educational websites got defaced. This is a small payback for hacking kerala.gov.in. Faisal 1337 go home kiddo, you are F*ucked."

The group went on to share the list of the websites  hacked. Few included Pakistan's government website Pakistan.gov.pk, and cabinet.gov.pk.

But the 'cyber-war' didn't end there. In the same Pastebin message, the group 'Hell Shield Hackers' stated that the motive behind this attack a payback against the attack on the Kerala government website.

"Indian Hackers haven't hacked a single Pakistani site after August 15, 2015. But Faisal Afzal hacked kerala.gov.in .. Dude? We are not sleeping. If you even touch a Indian site, we will crush you up.. :3. Now feel the heat pakistan.gov.pk hacked," the group said.

However, the governments of both the nations remained tight-lipped. According to reports, the unofficial ‘cyber war’ between the two countries had actually began in 2010 and is waged by patriotic hackers on both sides, every day.

The Times Of India report quoted Kerala's IT mission director K Mohammed Y Safirulla said the government was worried over a possible backlash following the afternoon's developments. "I met the principal secretary and discussed the issue. Officials concerned have been asked to stay vigilant," he said. 

Just like in field wars, hackers, who are the real soldiers in cyber wars, see retaliation as a sign of winning or revenge. However, we wonder when this digital war would come to an end?

10 Unbelievable Facts About Lord Hanuman That You Definitely Did Not Know

Worshipped by many who wish to gain courage and strength in their lives, Lord Hanuman is probably one of the most celebrated and revered figures in the Hindu Mythology. And although most of us know quite a bit about the deity's life (thanks to all the TV shows), there are still many things that we don't really know about our beloved Bajrangbali. Things like:

1. Pawanputra Hanuman was an incarnation of Lord Shiva and is considered to be an exemplification of strength, devotion, and perseverance.

Anjana, a beautiful Apsara in celestial palace court of Lord Brahma was cursed by a sage that, the moment she fell in love her face would transform to that of a monkey. Lord Brahma thought of helping her and she took birth on Earth. Later, Anjana fell in love with Kesari, the monkey king and they both married each other. Being an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva, she continued with her tapasya to please the God. Lord Shiva was impressed and she wished him to be her son so that she would be freed from the curse of the sage.   

Few days later, King Dasrath was performing a yagna after which the sage gave him kheer to feed all his wives. A portion of Kaushlya, his eldest wife, was snatched by a kite who flew all the way where Anjana was meditating. Lord Vayu (aka Pawan – Wind) on the signal of Lord Shiva kept the kheer in Anjana’s hand. Thinking it as Lord Shiva’s prasad Anjana ate it and thus gave birth to his incarnation – Pawan Putra Hanuman, the son of the Lord of the Winds.

2. The deity once applied sindoor all over his body for Lord Rama’s long life

                   

Lord Hanuman was greatly devoted to Lord Rama. A particular incident was when Sita put sindoor on her forehead, Hanuman asked her why. To this, she replied that since she is the wife and companion of Lord Rama, the sindoor was a sign of her unconditional love and respect. Hanuman then covered his entire body with sindoor to prove his love for Lord Rama. Lord Rama was really impressed by this and granted a boon that those who worshiped Lord Hanuman in the future with sindoor would see all their difficulties go away. 

3. The name, 'Hanuman' actually means 'disfigured jaw' in Sanskrit.

In Sanskrit, 'Hanu' means 'Jaw' and 'Man' means 'Disfigured'. No wonder, Hanuman’s jaw as a kid was disfigured by none other than Lord Indra who had used his vajra (thunderbolt) against Anjaneya, who took sun as a ripened mango and even went to trace it up in the sky. It was there in the sky that Lord Indra had used his vajra which threw Hanuman straight on the Earth, damaging his jaw forever.

4. Although he was a brahmchari, Lord Hanuman had a son - Makardhwaja.

Hanuman’s Son Makardhwaja was born to a mighty fish of the same name when Hanuman after burning the entire Lanka with his tail had dipped in the sea to cool off his body. It is said that his sweat was swallowed by the fish and thus Makardhwaja was conceived.

5. Once, Lord Ram issued a death sentence to Lord Hanuman!

After Lord Ram became the King, once, when the court was adjourned, Narada – known for creating disharmony between Ram and Hanuman – asked Hanuman to greet all the sages except Vishwamitra, since he was a King once. Hanuman did so, but it did not affect Vishwamitra.

Narada went on and instigated Vishwamitra, which angered him so much that he went to Ram and asked him to punish Hanuman to death. Vishmamitra being his guru, Ram could not ignore his command and punished Hanuman to death by arrows. Next day in the field, the statement was to be executed, but all arrows failed to do any harm to Hanuman as he kept chanting Ram!

Since Ram had to abide by his Guru’s word, he decided to use the Brahmastra. To the surprise of all, Hanuman’s chants of Ram even failed the most powerful Brahmastra! Seeing this, Narada went to Vishwamitra and confessed his mistake, stopping the ordeal!

6. Hanuman also created his version of Ramayan – which was supposedly a superior version compared to that of Valmiki’s

After the war at Lanka, Hanuman went to Himalaya for continuing his reverence of Lord Ram, Hanuman etched his version of Ram’s tale on the walls of the Himalayas with his nails.

When Maharshi Valmiki visited Hanuman to show his version of Ramayana, he saw the walls and felt sad as Valmiki believed that Hanuman’s Ramayana was superior and that his arduously created version of the Ramayana would remain unnoticed. Realising this, Hanuman discarded his version. Taken aback, Valmiki said he would love to be reborn to sing the glory of Hanuman!

7. Lord Hanuman and Lord Bhima were both brothers

Bhima was also the son of Vayu (the Lord of the Winds). One day, when Bhima was searching for a flower his wife wanted, he saw a monkey sleeping with his tail crossing the path. He asked him to move his tail. But the monkey didn’t do it and asked Bhima to move it. Bhima was very arrogant with his strength. Nevertheless, he couldn’t move or lift the tail. Therefore, he realized that this was not a mere ordinary monkey. It was none other than Hanuman. He lied there just to reduce the arrogance of Bhima.

8. When Lord Rama’s time of death was at hand, Lord Hanuman barred Yama from claiming him.

When Lord Rama decided to leave his earthly existence for his journey to Vaikuntha (heavenly abode of Lord Vishnu), he knew that Hanuman would not let him do so as he was a great devotee. So he instructed Hanuman to find his ring which had fallen on the ground and then disappeared in the Patal Loka. Hanuman went on the task of finding the ring and was met by the King of Spirits. He told him that the falling of the ring signified that the time for the end of Lord Ram's avatar had come.
